It’s clear that many of us feel strongly about the ethics and morality of these technologies. However, I don’t think it’s appropriate for the project to take a stance on them - ultimately these are personal decisions where reasonable people will find themselves differing - I think this is important for the overall health of the project. There’s always an invisible cost in taking these stances in the contributors who decided Rust wasn’t for them.
